The WNC Nature Center is a living museum with a focus on wildlife of the Appalachians. The Center houses a collection of 130 injured and orphaned wildlife including reptiles, mammals, birds, insects, and amphibians. The facility conveys a sense of unity between humans and the animals that call the center home.
