The Fine Art Museum serves the campus and the community as a cultural catalyst to celebrate and preserve the artistic legacy of the Western North Carolina region with a developing focus to collect, interpret and showcase innovation in contemporary fine art in all media. The museum also functions as a teaching resource by facilitating scholarly research in the visual arts, interactive art education and curriculum support across disciplines. It provides enrichment and lifelong learning for children and adults.
