The museum contains over 30,000 square feet of exhibit permanent and changing exhibit space. It is home to the Donna Fargo collection as well as exhibits related to Tommy Jarrell and Old Time music, Andy Griffith, the world famous Siamese Twins and all aspects of life in "the Hollows." The museum collects preserves and interprets natural, historic and artistic heritage of the region. The museum also offers regularly scheduled educational programming and meeting or facility rentals.
