Historic Johnson Farm operates as a heritage learning center for school children and the community. The 1870s brick farmhouse is the oldest brick home in Henderson County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property features a boarding house, a barn loft museum, 10 historic buildings and 15 acres of fields, forests and streams. Visitors can tour the historic buildings and walk the nature trails. Picnicking is permitted, and there is a gift shop.
